President and CEO
Allan's five decade business career started in Western Canada and includes 15 years with international chemical and construction products manufacturer W.R. Grace and Co., culminating as a Director. Since 1994 Allan has held senior positions and consulting engagements with companies in the communications, software, chemicals, manufacturing, and environmental verticals. Since 2002 he has been Director and President of Landmark Global Financial Corp, Great Lakes R&D Inc and Salumatics Inc. An engaged community volunteer, Allan holds the rank of L/Col in the Royal Canadian Artillery (M) and served in the reserves for over 25 years. He has been active on the Niagara Regional Police Board and Niagara College Foundation, and continues his military affiliations.

Scott McMillan

Vice President, Business Services and General Manager, Quebec
Scott’s 25 years in healthcare and executive management includes a detailed knowledge of the health informatics markets in both Canada and the US. Scott’s experience spans community care, acute care hospitals and mental health settings as well as regional health authorities, provincial health ministries, and Health Canada. He has developed and managed action plans and strategies to transition numerous North American health care institutions from paper-based health records management to electronic health record (EHR) systems. An active member with COACH and ITAC, Scott’s key operational skills involve nurturing strategic partnerships, transforming healthcare processes and executive project management. Fluently bilingual, Scott has an MBA from McGill University & Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (Paris, France) and a B.Sc. from Concordia University.

Shawn Morrison

Chief Technology Officer
Shawn is a leading expert and innovator in the development and implementation of technologies, services, and solutions that facilitate and support the migration of information to the electronic record. His experience extends to strategic IT leadership, process innovation, health information management, systems interoperability, software development and relational database management. Shawn is a certified health information professional (CPHIMS-CA) and a member of industry associations HIMSS and COACH. Shawn is an active participant in the development of healthcare infrastructure and interoperability standards through ITAC and IHE working groups and committees. Shawn received a B.Sc. from Wilfrid Laurier University and is currently pursuing his MBA through Athabasca University.

Carlyn Moulton

Chief Business Development Officer
Carlyn has led the development of organizations in sectors as diverse as television broadcasting, arts and culture, investigative journalism, community foundations, clinical laboratory restructuring, and health care consulting. In 1999, Carlyn founded THiiNC Information Management and served as the CEO and member of the Board of Directors until 2002. After THiiNC IMI re-branded as Salumatics, she continued to provide strategic advisory services to the company. As a consultant in the health sector, Carlyn has participated in large change management initiatives with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, the Mayo Clinic, the Capital Health Authority (Edmonton) and the Alberta Ministry of Health and Wellness. She has a long history of strategic advisory services in health services at very senior levels. She holds a Bachelors degree in Theology, and completed five years of graduate studies in Philosophy, History and Theology at the University of Toronto.

John Nicol

Vice President, Strategic Services
John has more than 30 years of manufacturing and quality senior management experience involving medical devices, pharmaceuticals and record conversion. As a certified ISO 9000 auditor, John was instrumental in the innovative design of our conversion and quality processes and is a driving force behind Salumatics overall performance management initiatives. As Project Manager, John successfully implemented enterprise-wide J.D. Edwards® software solutions at Source Medical and Baxter Pharmaceutical. These projects required extensive process documentation, process re-engineering as well as the creation of a unique, drill-down, detailed training program. John has a B.Sc. in Biological and Medical Sciences from the University of Toronto and has completed a four year Business Management diploma program at York University.

Yvon Bergeron

Director, Business Development
Yvon has 30 years of experience in management, technology transfer, project management and business development. His experience extends to strategic analysis, communication, change management, process management, competitive positioning, business development and management of large projects in Canada and Central & South America. He has held various senior positions with Desjardins, Genivar, and CGI. Since 2000, Yvon has dedicated himself to the implementation of electronic patient records in Quebec, with expertise in the legal and regulatory framework, the organizational environment and challenges that characterize the health community. Yvon is a graduate of the University of Montreal (Bachelor Spec. Anthropology) and the Bordeaux International School (International Trade).

Ken Crowell

Director, Conversion Solutions
Ken brings with him over 25 years of management experience in both operations and sales related to document conversion. Ken’s main responsibilities include the overall management of business development for the Salumatics document conversion services, solutions and technologies. In this capacity, Ken leads the conversion solutions sales team with respect to senior level presentations, sales and marketing strategies, customer relations, and contract negotiations. Ken has worked in the health records conversion market since 1995 and gained valuable experience from companies such as London Microfilming, AJD Data Solutions, Ikon Imaging and LASON. Ken has a Diploma in Business Management from Humber College and is currently completing his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Wilfred Laurier University.
