Mrs. Lemieux obtained her medical Archivist degree in 1983. She has a broad experience in document management including the conservation, protection, access and confidentiality of information, management of human resources as well as material and financial services of medical archives, reception and admitting in the Québec healthcare sector. Her academic profile is completed by training sessions at the University of Montreal and a complementary program in project management from ÉNAP.

Further to a reorganization of the healthcare system by the Ministry of Health geared towards new information technologies and the closure of a healthcare institution, she refocused her career in 1999. Since then, she participated in various consultations and support mandates for numerous healthcare facilities in both Canada and the United States.

In recent years, she actively participated in all implementation phases of the Electronic Patient Record System (EPRS) in institutions in Quebec, including training of users.

She joined the Salumatics management team in 2002 as Director, Project Management and manages the Salumatics scanning facility in Montreal, Quebec.
