Our Professional Services team has performed over 20 electronic health record "readiness" reviews (transitioning paper based systems to electronic based systems), as well as, over 9 Health Record Operational/Data Quality Reviews.

In conjunction with the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA), the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) and the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, Salumatics has been involved with projects such as an Ontario Data Quality Audit (involving 14 hospitals across Ontario) by providing both our remote coding technology and document conversion services (over 5.2 million images scanned). Alberta Health and Wellness also conducted a similar data quality audit whereby Salumatics not only provided coding services but also developed the data quality audit tool for ambulatory records.
